Kris Krug and Danielle Sipple are getting Shanghaied
Hey Shanghai. Kris Krug is coming back to town and he’s bringing Fierce Kitty with him.
From June 11-22. Kris will be capturing shots of the city and its people only to turn around and set them free for everyone to see.
Kris and I are collaborating on a project that’s going to show the world what Creative Commons can do to help bridge the wide gap of understanding between China and the west.
We’re going to publish a book that shares portraits, interviews and essays of people we meet who are influencing China today.
We’re going to publish it under a Creative Commons license just in time for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
Kris and I are so excited about this project. It’s going to be beautiful. amazing. insightful. creative.
I know what you’re thinking. How are we going to get money to do this? How are we going to make money? Who is our book agent? Who is our publisher? No f’n clue yet. Don’t care. Neither does Kris. We’re just going to do it. This is why he rocks. He gets what I’m trying to do. That’s why it’s going to be awesome.
All of Kris’s photographs are shared on Flickr so you can share it with others. Check them out.
