Don’t Work With Soul Suckers

Good kind people have an amazing ability to put up with a lot of crap from other people. That’s what makes them good people. But I’ve reached a point in my life — and it’s taken a lot of my life — to realize that i always have a choice. Including choosing the people I want to surround myself with.
Soul suckers. You know the type. The people who bring you down. The ones who see your parade coming down the street and prepare buckets of rain for it. The person who likes to play “devil’s advocate” with your hopes and dreams thinking they’re doing you a favor by showing you their world.
Don’t be mad at them. Don’t try to change them. Just don’t work with them.
Now, when I say don’t work with them. I don’t mean get drastic on yourself and quit a job or project you’re working on that’s important to you. I mean mentally. Don’t give them access to your soul.
Don’t work with people who suck the soul out of you. It’s not worth it. Rather, you are worth more than that.
